Gary Adshead

Gary Adshead is one of Western Australia’s foremost journalists who has worked across television, radio and print.

A journalist since 1984, Mr Adshead was named West Australian Journalist of the Year at the 2018 WA Media Awards. He has also won multiple awards for his investigations of organised crime, politics and breaking news.

He was the state political editor of The West Australian, and joined Business News in December 2021 before taking up a role with 6PR radio in late 2022.
