Tanarra Capital buys majority stake in INX Software
A majority shareholding in Perth-based INX Software has been bought by the private equity arm of Melbourne investor John Wylie’s Tanarra Capital.
Garry Back is an entrepreneur and business owner, and has started several companies in his 40 years working in Western Australia.
Mr Back has a background in accounting but has mainly worked in the IT sector, where he has been involved in the development of hundreds of computer applications.
He is the founder, chair and managing director of INX Software (since 2013), and chair of Cube Consulting (since 2000) and Cubility (since 2015), all of which operate from the same address in West Perth. INX has over 500,000 users across 23 countries using on average 3.4 of its products, and its team has grown from three to over 65 across Perth, Melbourne, South Africa and Canada.
