Gang Yu

Gang Yu has extensive metallurgical and mining experience especially in the areas of the study, development, construction and management of new and large projects. Mr Yu is chair of Shenzhen Zhongjin Lingnan Nonfemet Company and was previously its president, executive director and vice president. Prior to joining Zhongjin Lingnan, Mr Yu was the general manager of China Changsha Engineering & Research Institute of Nonferrous Metallurgy (one of the top-two large comprehensive research, design and engineering institutions in China's nonferrous metals industry) where he was awarded a number of national prizes on metallurgical research and development programs. He led many scientific researches, technical renovations for Chinese large-scale smelters & mines and implemented many new projects & plant constructions. Mr Yu was a non-executive director of PanAust, a copper and gold producer in Laos with pre-development opportunities in Laos, Papua New Guinea, Myanmar and Chile.
