Frederick Hilmer

Professor Frederick Hilmer AO holds degrees in law from the Universities of Sydney and Pennsylvania and an MBA from the Wharton School of Finance. He became vice chancellor and president of the University of NSW (UNSW) in June 2006. From 1998 to November 2005, he was chief executive and director of John Fairfax Holdings. Between 1989 and 1997, he was Dean and Professor of Management at the Australian Graduate School of Management (UNSW).
