Frank Hurley

Prior to joining Wrays in 2010, Frank Hurley spent four and a half years as the senior manager in a practice group of one of Australia’s leading law firms. He was responsible for setting strategy and budget as well as ensuring the efficient operations of the Group. Part of this role included putting in place business development strategies and winning new clients. The last year of his tenure with the Group saw record revenue in a climate where many competitors struggled. Mr Hurley has lectured in management at the University of WA and Murdoch University. He also held the Director of Research and Development position at Murdoch University while the organisation was undergoing a significant restructure. This is where his understanding of research and development, commercialization and innovation generally first took hold. He has been a management consultant working with a number of leading Australian companies implementing strategy and change management programmes. Mr Hurley sits on the board of several private unlisted companies and is chair of ASX-listed, XTD, which provides a cross track digital advertising system designed for rail operators.
