In January 2020, Prof Francis Campbell became the fourth vice chancellor of the University of Notre Dame Australia. Prior to that, he was vice chancellor of St Mary’s University in London. His extensive tertiary qualifications include an MA in International Relations from the University of Pennsylvania in the USA and an MA in European Integration from the Katholieke Universiteit in Belgium. Prof Campbell received honorary doctorates from five universities worldwide and an Honorary Fellowship from St Edmund’s College at Cambridge University in the UK. Apart from academia, Prof Campbell has immense diversity of experience which included serving as Ambassador of the United Kingdom to the Holy See, and a term as Private Secretary to former Prime Minister Tony Blair.
