Perth company starts medicinal cannabis exports
Perth-based Little Green Pharma has become the first Australian company to export a locally grown medicinal cannabis product.
Fleta Solomon is the founder, managing director and chief executive of Little Green Pharma, Australia’s first producer and exporter of pharmaceutical-grade cannabis medicines. She stepped down as managing director in August 2023 but remains an executive director of the business.
Ms Solomon had also established and ran Onsite Health Solutions, a provider of workplace health and injury prevention services, for more than 10 years. She has also been involved in several startups, including a water treatment technology business and a digital health engagement company based in Singapore.
Ms Solomon holds a Bachelor of Science and an MBA from the University of Western Australia, and is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
