Felicity Underhill spent almost 20 years working around the world in oil and gas industries, with a focus on hydrogen since 2018. She has a history of developing and delivering strategies across new industry development, major organisational transformation and innovation.
Ms Underhill became the director of Australia's Eastern States for Fortescue Future Industries, part of the Fortescue Metals Group, in September 2021 where she will be responsible for driving its hydrogen ambitions. Prior to that, she was general manager of future fuels at Origin Energy, worked in over 25 countries during her 10-year tenure at Shell, and was involved in the establishment of the LNG industry in Queensland.
Ms Underhill is a director and deputy chair of the Australian Hydrogen Council.
She holds a Masters in International Economy and Conflict Resolution from the Brussels School of International Studies.
