Faron Thibodeaux has over 39 years of technical and operations experience within the energy industry.

Prior to becoming the chief operating officer of Tamboran Resources in February 2021, Mr Thibodeaux was the vice president of drilling, completions and engineering at Apache Corporation; general manager of Apache Australia; and a board member of the Permian Basin Petroleum Association. He had also worked with Chevron as a drilling project manager where he led greenfield drilling program offshore in Cambodia.
