Eytan Uliel is a finance executive with extensive oil and gas industry experience. Since 2015, he has served as commercial director of Bahamas Petroleum, a UK-listed company with conventional oil exploration acreage offshore. From 2009 to 2014, Mr Uliel was chief financial officer and chief commercial officer of Dart Energy, an ASX-listed company that had unconventional gas assets (coal bed methane and shale gas) in Australia, Asia and Europe. He was chief commercial officer of its predecessor company, Arrow International, a Singapore-based company that had unconventional gas asset primarily in Asia and Australia. Mr Uliel commenced his career as a corporate lawyer with leading Australian law firm Freehills. His experience is in mergers and acquisitions, capital raisings and general corporate advisory work, with oil and gas industry-specific experience in public market takeovers and transactions, private treaty acquisitions, and farm-in/farm-out transactions. He was chair of Easycall International (dual ASX/SGX-listed), director of Strike Energy (ASX-listed) and Jasper Investments (SGX-listed), alternate director of Thakral Corporation (SGX-listed), director of CH4 Gas (ASX-listed until merged with Arrow Energy), and alternate director of Neverfail Springwater (ASX-listed). Mr Uliel was also previously a director of Lonely Planet Publications, and director of various Arrow/Dart entities across Asia and Europe.
