Evan Jones is a town planner and urban designer with over 30 years of experience in the public and private sectors across Australia. He has held senior roles at the development authority in regional Victoria and the WA Department of Planning, and was the national planning director of Multiplex for 7 years. Mr Jones has been the principal of his own consulting practice, Responsive Environments, since March 1995. He ran the statutory planning system in Western Australian for several years and developed the internationally recognised Liveable Neighbourhoods Code. He was also instrumental in urban renewal projects in Perth, including Armadale and Midland.
