The race for state and federal Liberal Party preselection is beginning to heat up, as some high-profile names flag their interest ahead of two party-defining ballots in 2025.
An experienced economist who started her career in bank and corporate treasuries, Elizabeth Court’s career has spanned major Australian cities and roles facilitating philanthropic investment for high-net-worth families. Ms Court sits on the board of Court Grammar School and the Sir Charles Court Foundation – named after her grandfather, who was premier of Western Australia from 1974 to 1982. Ms Court’s uncle, Richard Court, was the state’s premier from 1993-2001.
