Elizabeth Alexander

Elizabeth Alexander AM AO is a prominent company director and former partner of PwC who specialised in the area of risk management and corporate governance. Ms Alexander is chair of DEXUS Wholesale Property and director of DEXUS Funds Management, as part of the DEXUS Property Group. She was also a director of the IOOF Foundation, Boral and Amcor; Chancellor of the University of Melbourne; national president of CPA Australia and the Australian Institute of Company Directors; and former member of the Takeovers Panel. In 1990, Ms Alexander was appointed a Member of the Order of Australia in recognition of her services to accountancy. In 2019, she was appointed an Officer of the Order of Australia for distinguished service to higher education administration, to accounting and corporate governance, and as a role model.
