Edward Han

Edward Han is the managing director of Bain Capital, based in Sydney. As a director of Bain Capital, he sits on the boards of Only About Children, Camp Australia, Carver Korea, and Ideal Standard. Since joining Bain Capital in 1998, Mr Han has been involved in a number of key investments by funds advised by Bain Capital including Camp Australia, Only About Children, Carver Korea, Blue Coat, Ibstock, EWOS, Ideal Standard, The Weather Company, Clear Channel, SunGard, Warner Music, ProsiebenSAT.1, Houghton Mifflin, and Vertex Pacific. Prior to joining Bain Capital, Mr Han was a consultant at McKinsey & Company. He holds an MBA from Harvard Business School, where he was a Baker Scholar, and a BA summa cum laude in Computer Science from Harvard College where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa in his junior year.
