Tim Marney to be Mental Health Commissioner
Premier Colin Barnett has announced the appointment of Under Treasurer Tim Marney as the State’s next Mental Health Commissioner.

Eddie Bartnik is an independent consultant and strategic advisor to the National Disability Insurance Agency (Australia), with a focus on mental health and psychosocial disability, local area coordination, information linkages and capacity building, and international disability leadership.
He was the first Mental Health Commissioner for Western Australia (and first in Australia); acting director general of the Department for Communities; director of the Disability Services Commission; international human services consultant; conference keynote speaker and author; non-executive director; and clinical psychologist.
