Dwayne Rowland has family connections to the Tiwi people from Bathurst Island and the Jingili people from Daly Waters. He has strong relationships with indigenous groups and businesses across Australia.
Mr Rowland has extensive experience in the design, delivery and management of large construction, renewable energy, civil and mine infrastructure projects across a diverse range of industry sectors within Australia, and has worked for BHP Billiton, Carey Group, Thomas & Coffey and John Holland. He also has extensive skills in stakeholder relations, opportunity management, built-form infrastructure delivery and indigenous economic development program development.
Mr Rowland was instrumental in the development of new indigenous businesses across Australia in a number of sectors including construction and renewable energy that will provide training, employment and business opportunities for indigenous people; and the establishment of joint ventures with US minority businesses to build capacity and capability for indigenous Australians.
