Don Whittington

Don Whittington has been a member of the Metropolitan Cemeteries Board since 2003 and prior to that, was a member of the Fremantle Cemetery Board. He presented papers on natural burials at the 2006 & 2011 Australasian Cemeteries and Crematoria Association Conferences, and also presented a paper at the Association's 2014 Conference on the heritage tours that he regularly conducts in Fremantle Cemetery. Mr Whittington was a Councillor of the City of Fremantle for nine years, including three years as deputy mayor and six years as chair of Planning and Development.
