Accessibility and funding are two issues that have compromised the ability of WA’s Aboriginal tourism sector to satisfy unmet visitor demand.
Derryn Belford is a highly-respected leader within the public and private sectors, and has extensive experience in international marketing and sector development.
Prior to becoming the chief executive of StudyPerth in February 2022, Ms Belford spent over 13 years with Tourism WA where she was a director of strategy and policy, executive director of destination development, and acting managing director for a year.
Ms Belford has an MBA and is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
