Denise Tyler-Hare is a civil engineer and project leader with more than 7 years' experience in the land development industry which includes a wide range of experience from carpark and shopping centre developments, through to the development of 600-lot subdivisions. She has gained the respect of architects, developers and project managers and has been running full scale development projects for several years. As a well-rounded industry contributor, Ms Tyler-Hare was awarded the 2015 UDIA Young Development Professional of the Year Scholarship, is a chartered member of the Institution of Engineers Australia and member of the Green Building Council of Australia. She has participated in the National Committee for Women in Engineering, as well as the WA Committee for Women in Engineering and the UDIA WA Outlook Committee. In 2015, Ms Tyler-Hare was seconded to Water Technology in Melbourne, working on a variety of urban flood and drainage investigations around the State. She is familiar with 1D and 2D modelling in hydrology and hydraulics, using programs such as TUFLOW and RORB.
