Curtin opens $49m medical school
The new Curtin Medical School welcomed its first cohort of 60 students today at an opening ceremony held this morning.
Professor Deborah Terry AO spent 6 years as vice chancellor of Curtin University, after an academic career of more than 20 years at the University of Queensland where she progressed to the position of senior deputy vice chancellor. Prior to that, Prof Terry headed up UQ's School of Psychology and also held several leadership roles. She left her role at Curtin University in August 2020 to become vice chancellor of the University of Queensland.
