Deborah Binet
Deborah Binet is a senior project architect and has managed & delivered complex projects across a range of types and budgets. She also has extensive experience in design development, documentation and contract administration. Her experience includes three years leading a large architectural team on the documentation of the $550m Perth Arena, as project architect on the adaptive re-use of the Dalgety Woolstores which have been re-purposed into the Heirloom apartments, and delivery of the City of Perth’s C-grade Office Study. Ms Binet is chair of the AIA Heritage Forum and deputy chair of the Property Council’s Sustainable Development Committee. She is committed to sustainability in architecture and has been a speaker at GBCA events. She has tutored at the University of Western Australia, and mentored students from the University of Western Australia and Curtin University. Ms Binet established and manages the mentor scheme at Cameron Chisholm Nicol, and plays an important role in supporting the career development of young architects.
