Dean Goodwin is a geologist with over 30 years of exploration experience, including acting as head of geology at Focus Minerals and a 6-year period as managing director of Barra Resources. Mr Goodwin spent 6 years as an exploration geologist with Western Mining Corporation and was involved in discovering the Intrepid, Redoutable and Santa Anna gold deposits at Lake Lefroy with WMC. As senior exploration geologist with Resolute, he spent 5 years in Kalgoorlie managing exploration for the Chalice, Higginsville, Bullabulling and Bulong projects. As senior exploration geologist with LionOre, he was responsible for the discovery of several small gold deposits at the Bounty Gold Mine operations. Mr Goodwin has been working as an independent contract geologist exploring for gold and nickel sulphides throughout Western Australia. He holds a B.App.Sc. (Applied Geology) degree from Curtin University in Western Australia and is a Member of the Australian Institute of Geoscientists (MAIG).
