David Smith was an assurance partner with PwC until 2013 and was with the firm for over 33 years in Melbourne and Perth.
Mr Smith is experienced in external and internal audit services, accounting and broader business advice across a broad spectrum of industries covering resources, services, media, construction and engineering. He led client focused teams in the provision of services to clients and has had considerable experience reporting to boards and audit committees.
Mr Smith is a former member of the University of Melbourne audit and finance committees, and a former independent external chair of the risk assurance and audit committee of the Port Hedland Port Authority.
He has a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Melbourne, is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and a Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
