David Sim was appointed RPS’ General Manager for Environment and Water WA/NT in 2014. With over 20 years’ experience in environmental consultancy, Mr Sim has led major environmental programs on some of the State’s most iconic infrastructure projects, including eight years as the State’s lead environmental advisor on the development of Elizabeth Quay. Other recent roles include project leadership on packages of the Morley to Ellenbrook Transit Options study and Forrestfield Airport Link railway. Mr Sim operates within design teams, as a strategic advisor and project leader. He commenced his career working in the areas of hydrology, water quality and soil sciences, and has broadened his discipline expertise leading teams on large-scale environmental impact assessment and contaminated sites programs.
