David Round is a qualified CPA and holds an MBA. He has considerable experience within the resource sector, including nickel and graphite operational experience within Africa and internationally.
Mr Round has acted as chief financial officer, company secretary, corporate advisor, and worked for listed companies including Ironbark Zinc and Wolf Minerals.
Mr Round has been the executive director, chief financial officer and company secretary of BlackEarth Minerals NL since 2020. He was previously the head of finance, sales and marketing at Australian graphite producer Bass Metals where he led a large team in the development of a successful mine operation with supplies of critical minerals worldwide. He was also the inaugural executive director of Waratah Gold (now Waratah Resources) and chief financial officer of Albidon, a significant resource house with mine operations in Africa.
