David Reed

David Reed OAM has extensive public company experience, having served as chair of several ASX-listed mineral exploration companies.

From 1985 to 1997, Mr Reed was chair of stockbroking firm Eyres Reed until its sale to CIBC World Markets in 1997 at which time he became chair of CIBC Australia, a position he held until 2003.

He was also chair of the fundraising committee for the Australian Prospectors and Miners Hall of Fame, secretary of the Amalgamated Prospectors and Leaseholders Association, and co-founder of the Diggers and Dealers Forum in Kalgoorlie.

In 2002, Mr Reed was awarded a Medal of the Order of Australia for his services to the community.
