David Pass is a metallurgist with over 30 years of experience in the mining industry. He also has extensive skill and expertise across all aspects of mining and processing operations, project management and governance.
He is the chief executive of mining project development and engineering consultancy BatteryLimits, recognised as specialists in the graphite sector. Mr Pass was previously the metallurgy manager, general manager and chief executive of ASX-listed Moly Mines where he focused on the development of the large Spinifex Ridge moly/copper project, and the company’s iron ore project in Western Australia.
Mr Pass has worked in Western Australia’s gold industry for 20 years, including 10 years at Barrick Gold’s Granny Smith project where he was the processing manager and chief metallurgist.
