Epic startup gains $130m boost
MONTAGU Stockbrokers and former AMP State manager David Newman have amassed more than $130 million to kick start their new boutique financial services company Epic Asset Management.

David Newman has over 30 years of experience as an executive in financial services, with a successful track record in managing and guiding organisations through major and challenging transformations. He is the executive director and head of business solutions for Sentry Group, a national and respected non-aligned financial planning licensee with over 240 authorised representatives. Mr Newman holds a Diploma in Financial Planning and has undertaken Advanced and Executive Management Programs at the Melbourne Business School. He is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Management and a fellow of The Institute of Company Directors.
