David Marshall is a highly regarded figure in the world of Marine Safety with more than 40 years of experience in the development and sales of Man Overboard Technology. As the founder of Marine Rescue Technologies in the UK, he has championed the need for man overboard protection technology. Mr Marshall is employed at Sowilo Community High School in a dual role encompassing both areas of social work and duties involved with being the principal of the school. His social work role offers support to each student in areas such as emotional, literacy, health and self care issues, self advocacy, self empowerment and interpersonal communication skills whilst also providing levels of counselling relevant to the students needs. He is a Curtin graduate from the School of Social Work and has a Certificate 3 and 4 and Diploma in Human Services, specialising in Youth Work.
