David King

Dr David King was a founder and director of Sapex, Gas2Grid and Eastern Star Gas. He has substantial natural resource related experience, having previously served as managing director of North Flinders Mines and chief executive of Beach Petroleum and Claremont Petroleum.
Dr King is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, a Fellow of the Australasian institute of Mining and Metallurgy, and a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Geoscientists.
He graduated with First Class Honours in Physics and Mathematics from the University of East Anglia, a Master of Science in Geophysics from Royal School of Mines Imperial College at the University of London, and a PhD in Seismology from the Australian National University.
