David Hooton

David Hooton is a specialist in development and commercialisation of software automated networking solutions. He has a carrier engineering background and a deep understanding of the challenges faced by enterprise and carriers who are making the transition to a cloud centric IT and services environment. As a serial internet and telecommunications entrepreneur, Mr Hooton was the founder of Platform Networks, an Australian pioneer in software orchestrated networks and one of the first companies to gain access to the Australian National Broadband Network.
