David Groombridge has over 20 years of mining industry experience in multiple ore deposit styles including nickel sulphides, tungsten, SedEx (sedimentary exhalative) and orogenic gold in both underground and surface roles, primarily in resource development and mineral exploration. He has held a number of mine-based operation geology roles at a variety of gold and nickel mines in the Eastern Goldfields of Western Australia; including 12 years in senior management roles.
Mr Groombridge was the project geologist of Wolf Minerals’ Hemerdon Tin/Tungsten Project in Devon, UK from 2007 to 2009. He also spent over 5 years as senior geologist of Silver Lake Resources, and over 7 years as exploration manager of Medallion Metals before becoming chief executive of Riedel Resources in March 2023.
Mr Groombridge holds a Masters in Economic Geology from the University of Tasmania.
