David Flynn has over 15 years of experience in corporate advisory and capital markets, working across a variety of industries including telecommunications, engineering & mining services, property and natural resources. He has advised on a range of public and private M&A and financing transactions including debt, hybrid and emerging market sovereign financings. Prior to joining the firm, Mr Flynn spent four years working for Union Bancaire Privee in London running a hedge fund focused on emerging markets, and active trading of sovereign and corporate debt, credit derivatives and equity. He holds a Masters in Finance from the London Business School and degrees in Mathematics and Commerce (with First Class Honours) from the Curtin University of Technology. Mr Flynn was awarded the Ken Hall University Medal for highest academic achievement amongst Honours graduates.
