Dr David Cooke is the first non-Japanese managing director & chair of Konica Minolta Business Solutions Australia which offers office imaging devices, enterprise content management systems, 3D printing and AI technology through robotics & assisted agents (avatars). He has senior management experience in the ICT industry across a range of multinational companies and international trade consultancy roles in Europe & Asia. Dr Cooke is also an experienced company director. He is a non-executive director of UN Global Compact Network Australia and Together 1 Heart Cambodia, an anti-human trafficking NGO. Dr Cooke is the recipient of the Social Impact Award in 2011 presented by the Global Responsible Leadership Initiative & Emerald Group Publishing. He was awarded Top Alumnus of the last 20 years by Southern Cross University Business School (1994 - 2014). Dr Cooke is a finalist CEO Magazine IT Executive & Managing Director of the Year. He is a committee member of Federal Government Multi-Stakeholder Advisory Committee on Business & Human Rights; committee member of Global Summit of Women, Sydney 2018; panelist of DFAT & Attorney General's conference on human trafficking & human rights in business, Canberra 2016; national judge of iAwards (Australian Information Industry); fellow of the Australian Institute of Management (FAIM); graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors ; and member of the Ethics Centre.
