David Chapman is a geologist and senior executive with over 35 years of international resource industry experience in diverse commodities covering all aspects of the mining industry including exploration, operations, business development, feasibility studies, financing and construction.
Mr Chapman spent much of his professional career on exploration and project development in Brazil and is a fluent Portuguese speaker. He was a director of WMC Resources' Brazil office from 1991 to 2000 and was responsible for exploration programs for gold and base metals throughout Brazil and French Guiana. He is a founding director of ASX-listed Paringa Resources and remains on the board as its non-executive director. Mr Chapman also spent 5 years as managing director of Australia’s leading geological consultancy firm, Southern Geoscience Consultants.
