Austral wins national agribusiness prize
Commercial fishing company Austral Fisheries has taken the top prize in the agribusiness category at this year’s Australian Export Awards.
David Carter is an experienced chief executive with a history of working in the fishery industry. He is skilled in negotiation, business planning, fishing, entrepreneurship and international business.
Mr Carter is the chief executive of Austral Fisheries. He has a strong focus on sustainable fisheries, and is a third-party certification and business development professional with a Bachelor of Science in Marine Sciences from the University of Melbourne.
