He was chief executive and chief financial officer of Navitas, and chief executive of iiNet after the departure of founder Michael Malone.

Mr Buckingham was previously based in the UK where he held a number of senior financial roles from 1997 at Virgin Media, the UK’s largest residential ISP and Cable TV operator.
