David Bailey is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Australia and New Zealand and FINSIA (Financial Services Institute of Australasia).
He has over 25 years’ professional experience. Upon graduating from university, Mr Bailey entered the chartered accounting profession until 2000 when he took on his first senior role in commerce.
In 2004, he joined Australian Finance Group (AFG) as chief financial officer, and took on responsibility for the finance operations of the AFG group as a whole, together with AFG’s Securitisation business. In 2015, Mr Bailey was appointed chief operating officer and in 2017, was appointed to chief executive where he is responsible for strategy, corporate governance and driving future growth.
Mr Bailey has been a member of the Western Australian Cricket Association (WACA) for over two decades and also sits on the WACA Board.
