David Acton

David Acton has been the portfolio manager of Yarra Capital Management's Yarra Private Capital Discovery Fund since September 2022.

Prior to that, Mr Acton was a senior advisor at Rothschild Australia in equity capital markets for over 5.5 years, and had spent 25 years at global investment banks with roles in equity research, distribution & capital markets. Between 2000 and 2016, Mr Acton worked at Goldman Sachs in New York, Singapore and Sydney as an equity specialist advising institutional investors. From 2006 to 2016, he was a partner of Goldman Sachs JBWere and a managing director of Goldman Sachs where he held roles on the board and risk committee.
