Darrel Jarvis

Darrel Jarvis is a former key executive of the Holmes a Court family's Heytesbury Holdings with a significant agribusiness background. In the late 1990s he formed the Palandri Wine Group which raised an estimated $100 million over several years from a series of tax-effective investment schemes (also called managed investment schemes or MIS) which funded the development of numerous vineyards, a major Margaret River winery and an export marketing strategy. The business failed in 2008, and Mr Jarvis led a management buyout backed by Chinese entrepreneur Xibo Ma's Hebei Qianjin Steel Group, trading as 3Oceans Wine Company. Mr Jarvis left the board of 3Oceans in May 2016.
