Danny Keating is a mining engineer and chartered management accountant with over 25 years of mining industry experience, and particular expertise in developing bulk commodity projects and operations. For over a decade, Mr Keating led the development of new bauxite projects in Guinea.
Prior to becoming the chief executive of London-based New Vision Resources in August 2019, Mr Keating was the chief executive of Lindian Resources from August to November 2020, chief executive of Dynamic Mining, co-founder and chief executive of Alufer Mining, and held management and senior leadership roles within Anglo American in developing a broad range of technical and financial expertise in a number of jurisdictions (Zambia, Nambia, South Africa, Brazil and Chile) and across multiple commodities (iron ore, nickel, copper, gold and zinc).
