Daniel Chaney has been with Jones Day's Perth office since May 2014, initially as an associate before becoming a partner in its global disputes team in January 2024.

His practice is focused on resolving disputes efficiently, and includes complex commercial arbitration and litigation in a range of areas. Mr Chaney has considerable experience with complex and high-value energy and resources construction disputes including variation and delay/disruption claims, contract termination issues, and misleading conduct claims.

He is listed as a "key lawyer" for international arbitration in The Legal 500 directory.
