Dale Richards is a geologist with over 20 years of international experience in exploration, and operational geology. As an experienced senior executive, he has been responsible for strategic mining project development, and group technical services functions for exploration and mining projects internationally.
Mr Richards joined Dacian Gold as general manager of geology and exploration in June 2020 before becoming chief executive from June 2022 to February 2023. He stepped down as chief executive to focus on his role as general manager of geology and exploration. Prior to that, he had held corporate business development roles where he conducted technical due diligence and specialist mining studies on a range of copper and gold projects including recent studies in DRC, Ghana, Kyrgyzstan and Australia for Galane Gold, and preceding that for Baiyin Non-Ferrous.
