Dale Fisher started her career as a registered nurse and, while working as a nurse, completed a Bachelor of Business at RMIT and subsequently a Masters of Business at Monash University.
Ms Fisher has extensive experience in the health sector and also holds a number of academic and non-executive director positions.
She was the chief executive of Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre where she implemented the company's ambitious strategic directions 2015–2019, steered the Victorian Comprehensive Cancer Centre (VCCC) redevelopment project, oversaw the transition to Peter Mac’s new home in Parkville, and built the service and research capacity of the enterprise. She became chief executive of Silver Chain in December 2018.
In 2017, Ms Fisher was made a Distinguished Fellow of Monash University in recognition of her exceptional leadership and service to others.
