Craig Hollywood has over 20 years of experience in the civil engineering sector, with a strong design background. He has technical skills in rail, land development, mining, civil infrastructure, earthworks, sewer, roads, drainage and utilities,
Mr Hollywood was promoted to deputy defence lead at AECOM’s Perth office in April 2024, having previously been a principal technical officer of its Sydney office for 4 years. He was involved in major projects such as the Metronet Yanchep Rail Extension, Metronet Thornlie Cockburn Link, Main North & North Shore Corridor Works 'Chatswood Quad' (NSW), Garden Island Critical Infrastructure Recovery (NSW) & Yarnima Power Station.
Mr Hollywood is also the founder of Short Back & Sidewalks, an Australian for-purpose organisation operating in WA, NSW, VIC & SA which has been offering free haircuts and providing positive connections to members of the community experiencing homelessness and poverty.
He was named the 2022 Western Australia’s Local Hero as part of the Australian Of The Year Awards, and the 2022 City Of Perth Citizen Of The Year.
