John Hughes recruits independent chairman
The family company that owns John Hughes Group has recruited Melbourne-based business adviser Craig Holland as chairman as it prepares for a wider leadership succession.
Craig Holland is a director of Melbourne-based business advisory firm Generation Private. He is a former senior partner of Deloitte where he led the Deloitte Private Tax Group and was Deloitte Private’s chief operating officer.
In 2012, Mr Holland retired from the Deloitte Partnership to pursue his private business interests including corporate advisory. During 2012 and 2016, he was on the board of The Good Guys. In 2015, Mr Holland was chairman of the board subcommittee (Project Everest) which was the IPO / Trade Sale of The Good Guys which resulted in the $870m sale to JB Hi Fi Limited in November 2016.
He has also been on the board of Simavita Limited, a dual listed public company in the digital health industry.
