He has expertise in large scale open pit mining operations and planning including the development and implementation of mining technology and mine development projects across the globe. Mr McVie held a variety of mining roles including as consulting manager; senior consulting engineer; mine operations specialist; superintendent mine production; senior business improvement engineer; business improvement coach and senior mine production engineer. He is also experienced in life of mine scheduling, mining evaluations, operational planning and project management in large scale operations in Australia, South America, North America and Africa. Mr McVie has a broad exposure to many computer packages and mine planning software.
