Claire Chandler is an Australian politician, a member of the Liberal Party, and was Australia's youngest female senator (aged 29) when she became a Senator for Tasmania in 2019.
In June 2022, following the Liberal Party's defeat at the federal election, Ms Chandler became the Assistant Shadow Minister for Foreign Affairs in the Dutton shadow ministry.
Ms Chandler studied Arts and Law at the University of Tasmania, where her interest in politics was furthered. At university, she was a member of the University of Tasmania Liberal Club and later joined the Young Liberals where she served as both the Tasmanian Division President and Federal President.
