Christopher Aylward commenced his career in real estate in 1972. He has experience in the management, marketing, construction and development of residential and commercial real estate.
Mr Aylward was a principal of Richard Ellis, now CBRE, and responsible for city sales and leasing. He joined the Grollo Group as development manager and personal assistant to Bruno Grollo in 1984. In 1987, he became a founding director and substantial shareholder of Grocon, retiring in 1994 and from the board in 1996.
Mr Aylward also founded Kooyong Wines and APN Group in 1996. He has been chair of APN group since inception and remains its largest shareholder.
