Christine Emmanuel is a patent and trademark attorney, and a business development professional with over 30 years of local and international experience.
Ms Emmanuel has a Bachelor of Science with a major in Economics (Honours) from Monash University, Certificate in Intellectual Property Law from Queen Mary College, University of London, and a Masters of Enterprise from Melbourne University.
She is a member of the Chartered Institute of Patent Attorneys UK, and has been on the board of the Institute of Patent and Trade Mark Attorneys of Australia since 2010.
Ms Emmanuel has been the executive manager of business development and commercial at CSIRO since October 2018, having joined the company in October 2007, founded and led the management of its IP portfolio for over 10 years and managed the growth of its equity portfolio for over 5 years. Prior to that, she was in-house IP Counsel for Unilever in the UK, and practised as a patent and trademark attorney for Wilson Gunn (UK) and Davies Collison Cave and Griffith Hack in Melbourne.
